The Zelcore non-custodial crypto wallet and Web3 blockchain browser offers users various possibilities for trading and swapping within the app. So what’s the difference between trading and swapping?

Well, crypto trading, with complex trading orders such as stop limit orders and conditional orders is only available through the use of centralized exchange platforms (CEX) that offer users a classic trading interface for setting their own buy/sell prices and having more control over the trading process. Users can engage in this type of asset trading through the various centralized exchange platform integrations available within Zelcore.

Swapping, on the other hand, is tied more to decentralized exchange platforms (DEX) that allow users to trade in a non-custodial manner by simply connecting their wallet to the platforms and conducting direct swaps with the help of the DEX as a middleman that facilitates the swap. With Zelcore, users have various non-custodial swapping features at their disposal.

What assets can be swapped within Zelcore?

Zelcore has great crypto asset swapping capabilities. You don’t need to use a bunch of different apps and transfer your coins or tokens to other platforms in order to swap them. With Zelcore users can swap a broad range of crypto assets for each other including: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Avalanche (AVAX), Cosmos (ATOM), Fantom (FTM), Cardano (ADA), and numerous additional altcoins.

The whole swapping process is really fast and once it’s initiated, your asset swap will be finalized quickly, which is quite an improvement compared to many exchange platforms which require long waiting periods to process a simple crypto swap.

How do I swap one asset for another on Zelcore?

Zelcore is a true Web3 blockchain browser and a highly advanced multi currency crypto wallet. That’s why users have multiple swapping and trading options within the Zelcore app. The easiest way to perform a swap is through the QuickSwap feature, which is Zelcore’s native swapping feature.

The second way for really fast asset swapping is through Serum DEX or Binance DEX, which are integrated with Zelcore. This means that you just need to click on the Serum DEX or Binance DEX option in the Exchange menu of your Zelcore app, and you’ll immediately get connected to one of these two decentralized exchange platforms.

The third way is by connecting to one of your centralized exchange platform accounts and engaging in classic crypto trading on these platforms, but without leaving your Zelcore account. The centralized exchanges which are integrated with Zelcore include KuCoin, FTX, Gemini, Gate.io, and various other leading centralized platforms.

Is QuickSwap available for Zelcore users?

Yes, QuickSwap is available for Zelcore users and it’s a great way to easily conduct a swap without leaving your Zelcore app and using other platforms. Although you can use some of the many exchange platform integrations available within Zelcore, the QuickSwap feature is Zelcore’s own, in-house crypto swapping solution. It’s super fast and reliable.

In order to use the quickswap feature, follow these steps:

  • Log into your Zelcore account.
  • Navigate to the Exchange button with the two arrows which are pointing in opposite directions.
  • Choose the QuickSwap option.
  • Now choose the wallet from which you wish to swap assets in the top section of the screen.
  • Choose which crypto you wish to exchange, the amount, and the asset for which you'd like to exchange it.
  • Once you’re ready, just click the Swap button and that’s it. Your swap will be finished shortly.
